Watch: Vijay Varma Cheers For Tamannaah Bhatia As She Dances At Stree 2 Success Bash

Stree 2, directed by Amar Kaushik, released in India on August 15, 2024, and has set the cash registers ringing. The film has reportedly crossed the Rs 250 crore mark. A success bash was organised to mark its success and the highlight of the bash was the actress Tamannaah Bhatia’s dance. Tamannaah left the guests and her actor boyfriend Vijay Varma rooting for her as she danced to the Stree 2’s track Aaj Ki Raat. Awestruck by her performance, Vijay even whistled for the 34-year-old actress. Tamannaah looked ravishingly gorgeous in a stunning black dress. She was joined on the dance floor by her co-stars including Shraddha Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. The three actresses rocked the dance floor with the guests in the evening clapping for them.

Some of them were also recording their visuals. At one point in the dance performance, Shraddha even bowed to Tamannaah’s dancing skills. All the other guests in the evening also enjoyed the night, dancing on Stree 2 tracks.

Stree 2 is a sequel to the film Stree directed by Amar Kaushik. The sequel stars Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, Aparshakti Khurana and others in key roles.

According to multiple reports, Tamannaah received a staggering sum of Rs 1 crore for her dance moves in the track Aaj Ki Raat. This is about 300 percent higher than the salary charged by Nora Fatehi in Stree’s dance number Kamariya.

Madhubanti Bagchi has sung the track and the talented duo Sachin-Jigar composed it. It features choreography by Vijay Ganguly. In Aaj Ki Raat, Tamannaah donned a stunning green outfit and left the viewers swooning for her dance moves. She talked about her song and the shooting experience in an interview. Tamannaah revealed, “The song was shot in the freezing temperature of 5 degrees. It was challenging, but it was so much fun to be on the set. What makes this song special is the fact that I shot it on my birthday. I think the biggest gift an actor can have is a working birthday, and celebrating it with the warm team of Stree 2 was just the cherry on top. I’m overwhelmed with how the song is being received by the audience. Now, wishing the film also shatters all the box office records.”
