Actress Shanthi Krishna was one of the most famous actresses of the 80s and 90s. She is widely known for her leading roles in Malayalam and Tamil films. Shanthi Krishna has also bagged many awards, including the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actress for her performance as Sharadammini in Chakoram in 1994, the Kerala State Television Award for Best Actress three times in a row, and the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress (Malayalam) for her performance in Njandukalude Nattil Oridavela, her comeback film. In the other photo that went viral, Shanthi Krishna is seen dressed up in a pink floral printed suit, which she teamed with a mismatched green dupatta. In the selfie, she looked simple and elegant. She has shared this picture on the occasion of the New Year. “Wishing all of you a Very Happy, Wonderful, and Prosperous New Year 2024. God bless,” reads the caption.

Talking about her personal life, Shanthi Krishna married Malayalam actor Sreenath in 1984 and divorced him in 1995. She married Sadasivan Bajore in 1998, the secretary of the Rajiv Gandhi Group of Institutions. They have two children, Mithul and Mithali. The couple divorced in 2016. She lived in the US for a while and later returned to Bengaluru.
