The delicate relationship between a mother-in-law and daughter-in-law is being celebrated in the Konidela household with the launch of a collaborative venture called Athamma’s Kitchen. Upasana Konidela, daughter-in-law of Surekha Konidela, wife of Ram Charan, announced the venture alongside her mother-in-law, aiming to share the warmth and comfort of homemade meals with everyone. The initiative draws inspiration from Surekha Konidela’s years of preparing meals for her family, including her husband, Megastar Chiranjeevi, who often travelled extensively due to his work commitments.
Upasana took to her official Instagram handle to unveil Athamma’s Kitchen on Surekha Konidela’s birthday, making the occasion even more special. Sharing a heartfelt advertisement capturing the essence of homemade meals, she expressed, “On the occasion of Athamma’s Birthday, we are delighted to launch our entrepreneurial venture – Athamma’s Kitchen @athammaskitchen. Where taste meets tradition & culinary bonds are built over generations. Experience our ready mix – straight from our kitchen to yours.”

On Surekha’s birthday, the Megastar himself shared a touching post on his official Instagram, extending warm wishes to his beloved wife. He wrote, “Happy Birthday to my lifeline and the greatest pillar of my strength Surekha! Many Many Happy Returns!” The couple exchanged vows on February 20, 1980, and were blessed with three children: daughters Sushmitha and Sreeja and son Ram Charan.

Megastar Chiranjeevi, who was last seen in the film Bhola Shankar directed by Meher Ramesh and released on August 11, 2023, is gearing up for his next project, Vishawambhara, alongside Trisha Krishnan, scheduled for release in 2025.
This initiative not only highlights the bond between a mother-in-law and daughter-in-law but also celebrates the essence of family, tradition and entrepreneurship in the Konidela household.
