SRK Asks KKR To Recreate Harshit Rana's Infamous 'Flying Kiss' After Winning IPL 2024; Watch Viral Video

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan asked Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) players to recreate Harshit Rana’s controversial ‘flying kiss’ gesture as they posed with the IPL 2024 trophy. KKR beat Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Sunday night. Following the win, KKR co-owner joined fellow owners Juhi Chawla and Jay Mehta to pose with the champions of IPL 2024. As they posed for the cameras, Shah Rukh asked the team to blow a kiss at the camera. His request left the team and fans in splits.

For the unversed, KKR player Harshit Rana was suspended in April and was fined 100 percent of his match fee for breaching the IPL Code of Conduct. Coincidentally in a match between KKR and SRH, Harshit was penalised his wicket celebration directed by Mayank Agarwal. He blew a kiss farewell to Mayank after he took his wicket at Eden Gardens.

On Sunday, KKR beat SRH by eight wickets in Chennai to nab the IPL 2024 winner title. SRH didn’t have enough runs on the board and became the first side to get bowled out in the IPL final. The team scored 113 in less than 20 overs. With all wickets lost to KKR’s bowlers, SRH scored their third-lowest total in the IPL and the lowest total in an IPL final. The target of 114 was seamlessly achieved by KKR. Losing just two wickets, the team swiftly picked the IPL 2024 cup with 10 overs to spare.

News18 learned the KKR players and support staff had a grand celebrations in the dressing room. Owners Shah Rukh Khan, Jay Mehta and Juhi Chawla were with the entire squad and the thunderous applauses after numerous speeches could be heard even outside.

After nearly 45 minutes, the doors of the dressing room finally opened and SRK was the first to walk out as he made his way to the white Mercedes waiting to taking him back to the hotel. Juhi and Jay were next, and they were followed by Managing Director Venky Mysore.
