'Sorry Friends, My Last Post Was Painful": Dharmendra On X

Bollywood legend Dharmendra is known for his active presence on social media, a fact confirmed by his sons Bobby Deol and Sunny Deol during a recent appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Sharma on Netflix. Despite being 88 years old, Dharmendra frequently delights his fans with nostalgic pictures and anecdotes from his film sets. However, a recent post by the veteran actor has flashed headlines in the entertainment industry.

In a tweet, Dharmendra shared a heartfelt apology to his fans with a folded hands emoji. The actor had previously posted something on a social media platform, later deleting it himself. Expressing regret, he described his last post as “painful” and accompanied his apology with a black and white photo, seemingly taken recently. In the image, Dharmendra is dressed in a shirt and black pants, sporting a cap on his head while holding a pen in one hand and a diary in the other.

“Sorry friends, my previous post was painful, so I deleted it,” wrote Dharmendra in his viral post.

The fans appreciated the picture and called him an evergreen actor. One of the users said that the actor shouldn’t have deleted the post. “You shouldn’t have deleted it, you lost the opportunity but others were learning that. Serve your parents while you still have the chance, otherwise you won’t find peace even with regret,” wrote one of the users.

It is not the first time that the actor apologised for his tweet. Veteran actor Dharmendra was caught trolling his wife and BJP politician Hema Malini over photos showing her using a broom at parliament. He apologised for the same by tweeting ‘Never Again’. He called her a novice in a funny comment. This attracted the trolls, to which Dharmendra shared a tweet saying that his tweet was misunderstood.

Dharmendra was last seen in the film Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya.
