Shweta Bachchan opened up about the red flags in a relationship. Speaking with Navya Naveli Nanda on her vodcast, What the Hell Navya! season 2, Shweta, Navya and Jaya Bachchan were discussing relationships when they opened up about red flags. Shweta, who is married to Indian businessman Nikhil Nanda, said that there are three things that pop up as a red flag. The first being violence. She said that physical and verbal violence is a big no for her.
“Violence is obviously a no. Physical violence is a no. Even emotional violence, it’s just going to corrode everything. When one partner says these are things that really bother me, please try and avoid doing them. To have that respect, that don’t do it. If someone doesn’t like it, just don’t keep doing it. Show that little consideration and respect and not to drag fights. If they say sorry, because they already apologised," Shweta explained.
Jaya nodded along, showing her agreement to Shweta’s red flags. She also chipped in to add, “Bad manners would be a red flag for me. I hate it when people say ‘tu’ or ‘tum.’ Have you ever heard me referring to nana (grandfather, Amitabh Bachchan) as ‘tum?’ It feels disrespectful." She added that people need to have boundaries and respects in place.
