The second poster for the highly awaited romantic comedy Premalu, directed by Girish AD, has been unveiled. It marks the director’s comeback following his hit films like Thanneermathan Dinangal and Super Sharanya. The caption of the post reads, “May your Christmas sparkle with love and laughter! #Premalu is all set to light up your February. Cheers to festive joy and movie magic!”.

Actors including Naslen and Mamitha Baiju will be seen in the lead roles. The supporting cast of the film includes actors like Mohan, Akhila Bhargavan, Sangeeth Prathap, Althaf Salim, and Meenakshi Raveendran. The young talents promise an entertaining experience with a laughter-fill occasion for the audience.
The film is produced by Dileesh Pothan, Fahadh Faasil, and Syam Pushkaran under the banner of Bhavana Studios. Premalu marks Girish’s third directorial, with Naslen and Mamitha having collaborated with him in his second directorial, Super Sharanya.
Against the backdrop of Hyderabad, Premalu features music by acclaimed composer Vishnu Vijay, known for his work in films such as Guppy, Ambili, and Thallumaala.
The film Premalu boasts a strong ensemble cast, featuring Shyam Mohan, Akhila Bhargavan, Sangeeth Prathap, Althaf Salim, Meenakshi Raveendran, and others in significant roles.
Written by Girish AD and Kiran Josey, the film’s screenplay assures a blend of humour and love. Ajmal Sabu’s cinematography and Akash Joseph Varghese’s editing bring energy to the storytelling. Premalu is scheduled for a theatrical release in February 2024 and is anticipated to be a laughter-filled entertainer.
Some time back, the makers released the first look poster of the film. Naslen and Mamitha Baiju previously collaborated in Girish AD’s second directorial, Super Sharanya, available for streaming on Zee5. Meanwhile, Mamitha, known for her roles in Pranaya Vilasam and Ramachandra Boss & Co, is set to play the female lead in GV Prakash’s Tamil film, Rebel.
Naslen featured in several films, such as Ayalvaashi, Pachuvum Athbutha Vilakkum, Valatty, Journey of Love 18+, and Neymar. The upcoming projects with Girish AD represent Naslen’s slated works for 2024.
