Akshay Kumar’s song De Taali from his upcoming film titled Sarfira is out now. The musical video shows Akshay in his typical “Khiladi" style. Tanishk Bagchi is the voice behind the song, while Shloke Lal wrote the lyrics. De Taali is choreographed by Ganesh Acharya and features Akshay Kumar performing some stunts on a bike while displaying a range of emotions in snippets from different parts of the film. Released officially today, on July 9, 2024, the description of the song reads, “The song of dreamers, of the hustlers and of the Sarfiras! Presenting ‘De Taali’, the fourth song from the Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Radhikka Madan starrer, ‘Sarfira’."
In the song De Taali, the opening scene shows an emotional Akshay Kumar sitting on a train. Soon, the camera moves to actor Seema Biswas, who plays Akshay Kumar’s mother, talking to him over a phone call and motivating him to pursue his dreams. Akshay, who plays Captain Gorur Ramaswamy Iyengar Gopinath, is seen on the other side of the call, visibly in tears.
Moving further, the music video shows Akshay Kumar gearing up to make his dream project, “Air Deccan," a reality. He is seen meeting people and explaining his vision to the architects and engineers. There are also glimpses of his moments with his wife, played by Radhikka Madan in the film.

The film, Sarfira narrates the story of G.R. Gopinath, the man who made air travel affordable for ordinary Indians. He is not only the founder of Air Deccan but also a retired Captain of the Indian Army, an author and a politician at present.
Directed by Sudha Kongara, the film is an adaptation of the 2020 Tamil movie Soorarai Pottru, which had won five National Awards. The screenplay is written by Sudha and Shalini Ushadevi, with dialogues by Pooja Tolani. The film is produced by Aruna Bhatia, Suriya, Jyotika and Vikram Malhotra.
Akshay Kumar also shared the news of the release of the song on Instagram and announced that the film will hit the theatres this Friday, July 12.
