Salman Khan Interacts With Fans For The First Time Since Firing: 'I Won't Say Much About...'
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has shared a video of him talking about an event that he will be attending in Dubai on April 20.

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has shared the first post on his social media handles since the firing outside his residence at Galaxy Apartments in Mumbai’s Bandra area, where he stays with his parents Salim Khan and Salma Khan. In the latest post, Salman shared a video of him talking about an event, organised by Karate Combat, which he will be attending in Dubai on April 20.

Karate Combat is a brand which promotes the first professional full-contact karate league, hosting worldwide events since April 2018. The actor jetted off to Dubai this morning for a professional commitment following the firing incident outside his residence last Sunday. He arrived at the airport in his bulletproof SUV that he purchased in 2023 for security reasons.

Sharing the video on X, previously known as Twitter, Salman simply wrote, “Hope to see you tomorrow…” In the video, Salman said, “So I’m in Dubai now and tomorrow I’m going to be at this event called Karate Combat. I won’t say much about the event that you see for yourself, but I want to share a story with you. I know this kid who was doing taekwondo, jujitsu since the age of 2 and then one day we lost contact.”

“Just today I found out that the president of Karate Combat happens to be the same boy and his name is Asim,” Salman said, before introducing the man to his fans on the video.

As per a report in Hindustan Times.com, after finishing his prior work commitments, Salman will start shooting for AR Murugadoss’ directed movie, Sikandar, in June 2024. “Salman is paying all his attention towards working on his character, and getting it right. The shoot location is still not finalised, as the team is on a recce,” shares a source. “Everything would certainly be in a manner that it does not hamper the vision of the filmmaker or comes in between the filming process,” says the source.

While Salman Khan has not issued any statement regarding the firing as of now, his father Salim Khan spoke to India Today about the incident. “What’s there to talk about ye jaahil log jo kehte hain maar denge tab pata lagega na (These illiterate people say you’ll learn your lesson when we’ll kill you). We’ve been given extra police protection. They’ve (Mumbai Police) assured protection for us and our friends. If they’ve arrested two people today, that means they’re on it,” he said.
