Actor Ryan Reynolds is currently very busy closing in on the release date of his upcoming MCU film Deadpool & Wolverine. While the third film of the Deadpool franchise is yet to be released and we still have a day to go before it hits the theatres on July 26, the actor is already being asked about the fourth film of the franchise. Though it might be too early to say anything, Reynolds didn’t hold back from revealing that there might, in fact, not be a Deadpool 4. He hinted that this might be the final film of the franchise and in a lighthearted moment, blamed his dear wife and actor Blake Lively and their four kids for it.
The actor recently appeared on the popular talk show, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and spilled the beans not only about the making of the much-awaited film but also about his personal life.
On Monday night, the 47-year-old actor said that the working environment in Deadpool & Wolverine was the best he has ever been in and thanked co-star Hugh Jackman and director Shawn Levy for it. “The end product or the final version of this is better than anything I’ve ever done in my life, and I’m just thrilled. So that’s why we’re everywhere, we’re talking about it because we love it. We love what we get to do," Reynolds added.
On learning how much he loved working on the film, the host of the show, Jimmy Fallon asked him if the fans could see him revive Wade Wilson (Deadpool) once again. To this, the actor replied, “Oh God no, my wife and children will divorce me." Fallon reconfirmed, saying, “The kids will divorce you?" “Jimmy, I have no prenup with any of them. I will be capital “B" broke and, in turn, then doing Deadpool 4 ’cause I’d need the money," Reynolds jokingly added.
Reynolds and Blake Lively, 36, have been married for over a decade now. The duo exchanged vows in September 2012. They share four children together. Recently, during the premiere of Deadpool & Wolverine in New York City, Reynolds also revealed the name of their fourth child, who was born last year. They share daughters James, 9, Inez, 7, Betty, 4 and 1-year-old Olin.
