Rohit Shetty Opens Up On Shooting Singham Again With Ajay Devgn In Kashmir: 'Once There Was Terrorism...'

Rohit Shetty recently wrapped up shooting for his much-awaited film, Singham Again, in Kashmir. On Tuesday, the filmmaker took to his Instagram handle to express gratitude to the people of Kashmir. He called the Kashmir shoot schedule of Singham Again “most amazing and emotional” and shared how the abrogation of Article 370 has changed the place.

The video that Rohit Shetty shared had a text which read, “We always had a paradise in our motherland called Kashmir but once there was terrorism, unrest, curfews, no social life. And then Article 370 got abolished. 5 years later we landed up filming Singham Again. And now the New Kashmir. Happiness. Young energy. Tourism. Peace. Love. Naye Bharat ka naya Kashmir.”

Along with the text, the video also shared several glimpses of Ajay Devgn from Singham Again shoot in Kashmir. Rohit Shetty is also seen interacting with police officials, meeting children and signing autographs. In the caption of his post, Rohit Shetty thanked PM Modi and wrote, “@narendramodi @hmoindia Had the most amazing and emotional schedule. Thank you for the tremendous love Kashmir.”

Previously, Ajay Devgn also shared a picture from the Singham Again Kashmir shoot schedule in which he was seen keeping an intense look on his face. He was dressed in a police uniform and was surrounded by army tanks. “On Duty…AGAIN!” he had written.

What Do We Know About Singham Again? 

Rohit Shetty has established a cop universe in Bollywood with three of his big movies – Singham, Simmba, and Sooryavanshi which starred Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar respectively. The three superstars will now unite in Singham Again.

Besides Ajay Devgn, Singham Again will also star Arjun Kapoor in a key role. He recently wrapped up shooting for the film and shared on social media, “Rohit Shetty ke cop universe ka villain !!! I have wrapped up my work on ‘Singham Again’ !!! My 20th film & one of the biggest milestones of my career with a director who is the boss of MASS CINEMA !!! I feel blessed to be a part of one of the most entertaining franchises in Indian cinema. Can’t wait for our hard work to light up the silver screen soon !!!”

Kareena Kapoor Khan and Deepika Padukone will also be joining Rohit Shetty’s movie. The film will also introduce Tiger Shroff into the cop universe.
