Pooja Bhatt has condemned the firing outside Salman Khan’s Bandra home today. Taking to social media, Pooja said that there is a need for more stringent security measures in the area and called safety an illusion.

Pooja took to her official handle on X, previously known as Twitter, and wrote, “Horrific and condemnable. If this can happen with a police van parked outside the Khan residence for protection then it is fair to say that safety is an illusion. Need more stringent surveillance in Bandra for certain. Robberies were rife a while ago and now a shoot out? Scary.”

For the unversed, in the early hours of April 14, gunfire was reported outside Salman Khan’s residence in Mumbai. The incident occurred around 4.55 am, as per initial reports by CNN-News18, with two individuals being spotted on a motorcycle and firing three shots in the air. Heavy police deployment is currently seen outside the superstar’s residence, Galaxy Apartments. Mumbai Police have initiated efforts to nab the culprits by examining CCTV footage. The incident has been reported at the Bandra Police Station and the process of filing an FIR is underway.

According to police sources, three rounds were fired during the incident, which occurred around 4.55 am. The forensic team later arrived at the scene to gather evidence. It’s being reported that the Mumbai Police Crime Branch will take over the case. Investigations are underway to determine those involved in the incident. Salman Khan and his family members are safe and none of them have been injured or harmed.
