Parineeti Chopra has been getting an overwhelming response for her portrayal of Amarjot in the recently released film Amar Singh Chamkila. The film, which also stars Diljit Dosanjh in the lead role, was released on the OTT platform on April 12. Fans are in awe of her performance. On Monday, the actress took to social media to express her gratitude to her fans for their praise.
She shared a video in which she is seen singing a song while the real Amarjot is also seen in the frame. Both are singing the same song. “Amarjot ko itna pasand karne ke liye Shukriya #Chamkila Overwhelmed with all the love that’s been pouring in… thank you… #Grateful,” read the caption. As soon as the video was shared, fans rushed to the comment section. One of them wrote, “Parineeti, you nailed the role in Chamkila.” Another wrote, “Great performance! Much better than the so called Bollywood kids !!! Really !” “great performance pari lots of love,” read another comment.

On Sunday also Praineeti shared BTS photos from Chamkila set and wrote, “Curled up in my blanket. Overwhelmed with your words, calls, and movie reviews. (tears are not stopping) “PARINEETI IS BACK.” These words are ringing loud. Hadn’t thought of this. Yes I am back, and not going anywhere!”
After wrapping up the film, Parineeti Chopra reflected on her journey working on the movie and penned a heartfelt message. “I’m immensely thankful for Chamkila. Imtiaz Ali Sir, your direction was unparalleled; you truly led the ship with finesse. Your vision and passion set a new standard. Imtiaz Ali’s Amar Singh Chamkila is a biographical film based on the life of the legendary artist and electrifying live-stage performer from Punjab, who gained immense popularity during the 1980s. Portraying the lead role is Diljit Dosanjh, while Parineeti Chopra takes on the character of his on-screen wife, Amarjot Kaur.
