Pa Ranjith Unveils First-look Poster Of Malayalam Film Bottle Radha

Ace Tamil cinema filmmaker Pa Ranjith, popular for films like Kabali and Kaala, is coming back to the big screens with a new production. On Monday, Pa Ranjith’s production unveiled the first look poster and title of their new project.

Pa Ranjith is set to bankroll his upcoming film venture, which is titled Bottle Radha, under the banner of his own Neelam Productions. According to reports, the film has names like Guru Somasundaram, Sanchana Natrajan, John Vijay, Maaran and Antony.

Bottle Radha’s producer Pa Ranjith took to his official X handle, to share the announcement of his new project. The filmmaker tweeted, “It all starts with a Bottle. Buckle up for a high like no other! It’s going to be an entertaining ride! Presenting you the first look of #BottleRadha. A film by @Dhinakaranyoji I’m happy for you da. A @RSeanRoldan Musical Starring @gurusoms @sanchana_n @actorjohnvijay #Maaran #Antony @PariElavazaghan.” The poster featuring our lead was attached to the tweet.

The poster, shared in the English, Malayalam and Tamil, shows Guru Somasundaram enclosed in a half-filled alcohol bottle, as he sits half-immersed, on an extravagant throne, holding a cup. His face gives an unapologetic and proud expression of a drunkard, showing how he does not care about whatever situation he is in.

Some of the most prominent names in the Malayalam film industry extended their support to the announcement by sharing the poster on their respective social media handles. These names include Tovino Thomas, Basil Joseph, Parvathy, Nimisha Sajayan and Shweta Menon.

Bottle Radha is being made under the direction of Dinakaran Sivalingam. It is a joint production of Pa Ranjith’s Neelam Productions and Balloon Pictures under TN Arunbalaji. The makers have roped in Sean Roldan to compose the music while the cinematographer is Roopesh Shaji and E Sangathamizhan is doing the editing. More details on the film’s cast and release date are expected in the coming days.
