Nora Fatehi shared that she had practised the hook step several times and performed it on stage as well.

Nora Fatehi set the screens on fire with her phenomenal dance performance to O Saki Saki in the movie Batla House. Her energy, her mesmerising belly dancing and her overall choreography have etched a place in the minds of her fans. However, nothing great has been achieved without enduring some pain. Nora Fatehi too underwent much physical strain while dancing to the peppy number.

In an interview with the E-Times Nora Fatehi reflected on her O Saki Saki dance routine. She shared that she had practised the hook step several times and performed it on stage as well. She said, “It was such a tough step that I still do physiotherapy.” She claimed that for the last five years, she has been undergoing physiotherapy because of the pain the step and the dance caused her.

Nora Fatehi said, “It’s one of my favourite steps. I think that step got people like ‘Woah! What is she doing?’” She claimed that the dance motivated a lot of people to push themselves physically. When asked about her smooth and stunning moves and how she performs such steps, she responded that she is quite flexible helping her in attempting the difficult steps.

In a separate interview too, the Dilbar dancer shared that she had scraped the skin of her knees which led to a lot of bleeding. She also suffered an excruciating lower back pain. In a majority of the songs she has sustained injuries or hurt herself and hence, she always has a physiotherapist on her set. Despite these setbacks, Nora Fatehi never let these affect her high-octane energetic dance performances.

Nora Fatehi has belted out quite the dance numbers like Dilbar, Kamariya, Ek Toh Kum Zindagani, Manike, Jehda Nasha, Naah and many others. Talking about her upcoming work, she has been roped in, in Varun Tej’s Telugu movie titled Matka. She also has Remo D’Souza’s Dancing Dad in her kitty. Before Matka, Nora Fatehi first marked her debut in the Telugu industry with the dance Ittage Rechchipodam from the movie Temper. She made a special appearance in Baahubali: The Beginning’s song Manohari.
