Nita Ambani Gets Overwhelmed Watching Anant Ambani, Radhika Merchant Get Married: 'Two Pieces Of My Heart'

Nita Ambani and Mukesh Ambani’s son, Anant Ambani tied the knot with Radhika Merchant in a lavish ceremony in Mumbai on Friday, July 12. As Nita watched her son get married, she felt overwhelmed with joy and gratitude. Nita also gave a special speech at the wedding and emphasised the importance of “saath janam ka saath”.

Nita Ambani said, “Namaskar and thank you for joining us in this sacred ceremony. At this moment, I’m overwhelmed with emotions of joy, gratitude and deep devotion as I watch these two pieces of my heart, Anant and Radhika, unite in this eternal bond. In Hindu tradition, marriage is a solid promise not just for this lifetime but for seven lifetimes. Saath janam ka saath. It’s a belief that souls destined to find each other do so again and again, their love deepening with each lifetime…”

Nita Ambani was a proud mother as she watched her son get married. In one of the videos from the event, she was seen welcoming Anant as he made his groom entry with dad Mukesh Ambani, uncle Anil Ambani and friends. Anant was all smiles as he made his way to the mandap while Nita, Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta waited to greet him.

The wedding merriments for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant commenced with the Mameru ceremony hosted by Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani at their opulent abode, Antilia, in Mumbai last week. Yesterday marked the grand wedding day, starting with the auspicious Shubh Vivah ceremony, calling for Indian traditional attire. The upcoming Shubh Aashirwad ceremony on July 13 will require Indian formal attire, and the festivities will culminate on July 14 with the Mangal Utsav wedding reception, where the dress code leans towards Indian chic. All these joyous occasions are slated to take place at the prestigious Jio World Centre in BKC.

Meanwhile, an array of international luminaries including Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas, Ram Charan, Boris Johnson – the former UK Prime Minister, and Jay Y. Lee, the Executive Chairman of Samsung Electronics, graced the event with their presence. Kim Kardashian, in particular, added a touch of glamour to the celebrations by sharing glimpses of her warm reception at the Taj Colaba on her Instagram stories.
