Nawazuddin Siddiqui Reveals Daughter Shora Is Critical Of His Work: 'Papa Don't Even Think Of Dancing...'
Nawazuddin Siddiqui, celebrated for his intense performances, recently spoke about balancing his acting career with fatherhood.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui, renowned for his powerful on-screen performances, recently opened up about the challenges of juggling his demanding work schedule with being a father. In a heartfelt conversation, the actor shared how he makes up for the lost time with his family in Dubai. He also opened up about daughter Shora’s critique of his work

“Whenever I get time, as soon as I finish work on a film, I go to Dubai,” Nawazuddin explained in an interview with Manju Ramanan, underscoring his commitment to being present for his children. “As soon as I get time, five days, ten days, whatever time I get, I come to Dubai,” he emphasized, as quoted by the Indian Express.

During his stays, Nawazuddin ensures he takes on his fatherly responsibilities, which often get overshadowed by his busy career. He explained, “I drop them off at school and pick them up. One of the shortcomings is that I can’t give time to my children. So, I do that in the 12 days when I am here. Yes, I enjoy fulfilling my duties as a father.”

His daughter, Shora, is also preparing for a career in acting, following in her father’s footsteps. “She wants to become an actress,” Nawazuddin revealed, though he has concerns about her watching his more mature films. “There are some films that she can’t watch because of her age, and most of my films are like that. So, I think that the two films that I have done, Costao… she’ll easily be able to watch it.”

Shora is also vocal about her opinions on her father’s performances. Laughing, Nawazuddin shared, “She always tells me, ‘Papa, don’t even think of dancing. You are very stiff.’”

The actor’s family relocated to Dubai after he reconciled with his wife, Aaliya, following their near-divorce. Aaliya now lives in Dubai with their two children, Shora and Yaani, seeking better education and a more stable environment for them.
