Mannara Chopra DEFENDS 'Winner In Female Category' Tag, Takes A Dig At Other BB17 Girls: 'They Had Flaws'
Mannara Chopra said in an interview that she isn't bothered by trolls and believes that her top 3 ranking reflects her likable personality.

Bigg Boss, one of the most controversial reality TV shows, is often under the radar for the conflicts among its participants. But what is also notable is the bond many of these participants form during the competition, some of which lasts way beyond the show. In the last season, Bigg Boss 17, Munawar Faruqui emerged as the winner. Two weeks back, Munawar was seen mocking Mannara Chopra in one of his recent Instagram live sessions. The stand-up comedian interacted with his fans via his Instagram handle when he reacted to Mannara Chopra calling herself “Bigg Boss 17 winner in the female category”. Mannara, who was the second runner-up on Salman Khan’s show had added this as her Instagram description after the grand finale but dropped it later.

Reacting to the same, Mannara said that it was her team who did it. Defending it, she said, “Even if my team mentioned that in my bio, I don’t find anything wrong in it. I was in a competition and if there were several other girls and boys but I made it in the top 3 moving ahead in the game then I would like to accept the fact and I should feel proud about it that I made it so far in the game. It is a proud moment and if my team wrote that I was the winner in the female category, they must have definitely thought something about it.”

Mannara also said that she isn’t bothered by trolls and believes that her top 3 ranking reflects her likable personality. “The truth is that I was there in top 3 and I was able to leave other contestants behind. There’s no two ways about it and if there were girls but I was the one who stood in top 3. This also doesn’t mean that people who couldn’t make it to the top 3 were less deserving, less talented. Maybe they lacked something in their personality or they had flaws in their personality that’s why I was in the top 3. People loved my personality. I would like to again mention that a show is made collectively by a team. Joh bhi contestants show mein the agar woh na hote toh show shayad itna interesting nahi hoti.”

Munawar Faruqui and Mannara Chopra faced several ups and downs in the Bigg Boss 17 house. The two were good friends initially but later developed certain differences following Ayesha Khan’s entry.
