Karan Johar’s popular chat show, Koffee with Karan is perhaps the most loved show of the country. With Johar being friends with practically the entire film industry, almost all of Bollywood A-listers have made an appearance on the show of which some have been at their candid best.
From bringing arch rivals Madhuri Dixit and Juhi Chawla together on the show to making Salman Khan say he is a ‘virgin’, Johar show has had several high points over the years. Some of the episodes have been outrageous, some honest and some extremely fun!
The fifth season has just begun with SRK and Alia Bhatt gracing the couch on episode one. Something tells us that the upcoming episode featuring Akshay Kumar and his wife Twinkle Khanna is going to be perhaps the most outrageous episode of this season. Don’t believe us? In the past there have been certain episodes which have raised eyebrows. Like the one in season four when Nargis Fakhri and Frieda Pinto discussed butt cheeks, penises and more! Or the time when Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor (the only time they came together on screen) together made fun of Ranbir Kapoor. Kapoor had back then just broken up with Deepika and had started dating Katrina. So an agnsty ex had all reasons to go a bit catty on him. The episode had even angered Rishi Kapoor, Ranbir’s father, and Johar had to apologize to him personally later on.
Will Twinkle Khanna and Akshay Kumar’s episode ruffle a few feathers in the industry as well. Guess we will have to wait and watch the entire episode.
