Bollywood’s veteran actor Jackie Shroff has been active in Bollywood for the last four decades. He has always won the hearts of people with his strong acting. According to reports, it became the second highest grossing film of the year in 1993 and proved to be a blockbuster at the box office. This film was written, directed, and produced by Subhash Ghai and featured Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit, and Jackie Shroff in lead roles.
2. Rangeela (1995): This Jackie Shroff film became the fourth highest grossing film of 1995. It was a romantic comedy film co-written, directed, and produced by Ram Gopal Varma. It featured Jackie Shroff, along with Aamir Khan and Urmila Matondkar, in the lead roles. The audience liked this film so much that it proved to be a blockbuster after its release. Apart from this, the film was AR Rahman’s first Hindi film with an original score and soundtrack.
3. Agni Sakshi (1996): This musical romance drama film was directed by Partho Ghosh. This film became the fifth-highest-grossing film of the year 1996. Nana Patekar and Manisha Koirala also acted in this film, along with Jackie Shroff. It proved to be a blockbuster at the box office.
4. Border (1997): Border was an epic war film written, produced, and directed by JP Dutta. The film was set during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971 and was based on the events of the Battle of Longewala (1971). This was a multi-starrer project, but Jackie Shroff’s role in the film was considered very important and received immense appreciation. 5. Dhoom 3 (2023): Starring Aamir Khan, Jackie Shroff, Abhishek Bachchan, Uday Chopra, and Katrina Kaif, this film created box office history upon its release. It became the highest-grossing film of 2013. It was an action thriller film written and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and was the third instalment of the Dhoom series.
