One of the most fabulous sister duos in Hindi cinema has to be the Karisma Kapoor-Kareena Kapoor Khan pair, who have been entertaining audiences for nearly four decades! The Kapoor clan is famous for their love of the extravagant and their unbreakable bonds, no matter the ups and downs of the film industry. Recently, the dynamic sisters graced Netflix’s The Great Indian Kapil Show, hosted by Kapil Sharma. They chatted about their illustrious Kapoor legacy, their sisterly bond, and, of course, Saif Ali Khan, who’s shared the screen with both of them throughout his career.
While discussing the first time Kareena talked about her relationship with Saif, Karisma shared that it happened in London and nearly took her by surprise. “Kareena actually asked me to sit down somewhere before she could say what she wanted to say. I didn’t understand the need, but I did find a sofa in the London store where I was shopping. She went like, ‘The thing is that, I’m in love with Saif. We are together. We are dating,’ and I wanted to hold on more tightly to the sofa,” shared Karisma.
Karisma said it took her a while to wrap her head around the fact that Kareena was dating Saif. “It took me a second to process all of this. Saif was my buddy, and my co-star, right?” Karisma asked, making the audience laugh. Then, Kapil asked Kareena if Saif confessed his love first or if she did. “Knowing me, I would have confessed first. It was important that I told him directly what I felt about us. It was important,” said Kareena. “Everyone knows I’m my own favourite. So before telling anyone else, I had to tell him first.”
Karisma Kapoor, who was recently in the Netflix show Murder Mubarak, is also judging the reality show India’s Best Dancer. On the other hand, Kareena Kapoor, known for her great performance in The Buckingham Murders, is looking forward to the release of Rohit Shetty’s Singham Returns, which stars Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff and Arjun Kapoor.
