It was a night no Bappi Lahiri fan would have wanted to miss! For it had good music, good humour and good memories to cherish. Sharma kicked off the show by giving an insight into individuals’ different experiences at restaurants. After leaving the audience in splits with his witty one-liners, he got the popular composer Lahiri on The Kapil Sharma Show with the Tamma Tamma song playing in the background.
As expected Sidhuji lauded Lahiri with his shayri.
And it went like this:
Sailaab Hai Suron Ka Awaaz Unki Highlight Hai
Sangeet Mei Unki Chamak Chandrama Jaisi Bright Hai
24 Karate Sone Jaisi Shaksiyat Hai Aapki
Baapi Da Shaan Hai Humari Aur Music Jagat Ke Dynamite Hai
Next Sharma informed the viewers that Lahiri is also a part of the Guinness Book Of World Records, courtesy his work in the music industry. This was followed with a few jokes on the gold chains he wears.
On being asked whether Michael Jackson was also his fan, Lahiri recalled his meeting with Jackson. He narrated how he saw him sitting somewhere once and was impressed with the Ganpati gold chain he was wearing. He asked Lahiri who he was. On speaking further, Jackson got to know that he was the composer of Disco Dancer, and immediately started singing 'Jimmy Jimmy Jimmy, aaja aaja aaja’.
Later, Kapil also called the Indian Idol winner LV Revanth and other top contestants - Khuda Baksh, Rohit, Mohit and Maalavika Sundar on the show.
Sharma joked with LV Revanth and asked him Katappa Ne Bahubali Ko Kyun Maara. But Baahubali fame singer Revanth's reply was equally smart.
While Sharma was quick at lauding Mohit for his mustache style, he made sure he passed a funny compliment too.
When Rohit told Sharma his full name - Paritana Venkat Naga Sahi Rohit – the host came up with a rather bizarre reply.
