Jimmy Kimmel Teams Up With Wife Molly To Hit Back At Donald Trump's Insults

In the ongoing feud between late-night host Jimmy Kimmel and former president Donald Trump, Kimmel took things up a notch by enlisting a surprising guest for his latest response — his wife, Molly McNearney. During Tuesday’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the 56-year-old comedian brought Molly on stage to help him fire back at Trump’s recent remarks at an Indiana rally. The former president had reportedly labelled Kimmel “one of the dumbest human beings ever" during a rally in Indiana on Monday, and the couple wasn’t about to let that slide go without a comeback.

Kimmel started his usual monologue with a clip from Trump’s rally, where the former president shared his thoughts on Kimmel’s performance at the Academy Awards. In the 30-second video, Trump implied that Kimmel should have listened to his wife, insinuating that Molly had warned him against a particular Oscars joke.

Soon, Kimmel brought Molly onto the show for a live rebuttal, and what followed was a sharp and fiery response from the husband-wife duo.

Once on stage, Molly didn’t hold back. “Donald, thank you for your support, and I’m glad I have your attention," she began. Molly used the opportunity to highlight women’s reproductive rights. She pointedly addressed Trump’s influence on the current situation, saying, “Because one in three women currently in this country is living under an abortion ban, because you stacked our supreme court. Thanks to you, women in 21 states can’t make their own choice about their own life and their own body. And 10 US states make no exception for rape and incest."

Molly went on to critique the broader Republican stance on women’s healthcare. She slammed the GOP for their recent efforts to block legislation aimed at protecting women’s access to IVF treatments, making it clear how dire the situation has become for women across the country. “Women are dying, and good doctors are quitting, because they can’t get, or give, the reproductive care women desperately need," she explained.

“So my advice for you is to shut up and go away," Molly concluded.

The mentioned episode aired on Wednesday night, September 25.
