Sridevi's elder daughter Janhvi Kapoor is soon to enter Hindi film industry with Karan Johar's production Dhadak. Today, the veteran actress might not be around to a be a part of her daughter's biggest day, she had made sure that Janhvi looked perfect in her first film.
Recently, Janhvi shot for Vogue India’s June issue in which she also spoke to Johar about her late mother, how her loss she and her family will never get over and what Sridevi told her after watching her in Dhadak.
“She was very technical about it. The first thing she told me was the things I needed to improve -- she felt the mascara was smudged and it really bothered her. The second half has to be different, she told me... ‘You can’t wear anything on your face.’ That’s all she told me, but she was happy," Janhvi said about Sridevi's reaction when she saw 25 minutes of Dhadak.
Sridevi breathed her last on February 24, 2018, in Dubai where she had gone to attend a family wedding. She is survived by her husband Boney Kapoor and two daughters.
