Fans have been waiting patiently for Baahubali: The Conclusion as the first part ended at a very crucial point. While the whole world is intrigued about the conclusion of the epic saga, a video clip allegedly of the second part of the film has been leaked online.
The producer of the film, in a complaint to the Cyber Cell, has stated that raw footage of the film has been stolen and uploaded on social media without permission.
On Tuesday evening, producer Shobhu Yarlagadda, lodged a complaint alleging that he saw video clippings of Baahubali-2 footage on YouTube and asked his team to find out how it happened.
After looking at the five minute footage, the producer realised that it could have only been leaked by Annapurna Studios, where the footage was given for design work.
Further investigation revealed that a trainee at the studio, had stolen and uploaded the video, reports Times Of India.
When the police interrogated, the accused confessed to have shared the footage with two of his friends via whats app.
The accused, Krishna Dayanand Chowdary, revealed that he had logged into the computer server at the graphics design unit of the studio on Monday afternoon and copied six minutes audio visual footage of the movie into his pen drive.
Police has registered a case against Krishna under sections 43 (b), 66 of the IT Act and section 63 of the Copyright Act and seized his computer, cell phone and pen drive.
The producer took to Twitter to urge fans to not share the footage further which is yet to be pulled down by YouTube.
