Actor Angad Bedi is all set to make a documentary on his father Bishan Singh Bedi, portraying his life before and after becoming a key member of the Indian cricket team. The biopic will portray the life of the former captain in the era of 60s and 70s, a timeframe not many cricket fans know about.
Angad Bedi who himself started his career by playing cricket for the Delhi Under 16 and 19 teams, wants people to relive his father's journey. He personally loves watching documentaries, which he feels showcase the realities of life as opposed to movies, which can move towards being unrealistic.
Angad feels that his father's life journey can inspire many more upcoming cricketers.
When asked about the documentary Angad said, "I feel a documentary will do justice as there is a lot in his life which needs to be seen and told. From his rapport with the players to him being this larger than life personality and brutally honest in calling a spade. Known as a straight shooter his friendships, fallouts, the relationships at home everything needs to be seen. His love for the game is greater than anything else in the world."
