Anant Ambani is all set to marry Radhika Merchant this week. Ahead of the wedding ceremony, the Ambani family hosted the Shiv Shakti puja at their Mumbai home. While the family members hosted several stars at their puja, the groom’s mother, Nita Ambani took a few minutes out to check on the paparazzi. In a video shared on Instagram, the businesswoman was seen asking if the paparazzi are placed comfortably at the wedding venue, amid the rainfall in Mumbai.
“Jai Shri Krishna… Aaj Shiv Shakti ki puja hai toh aapke liye prasad bhej rahi hoon. Aap rukhe hue ho yahan? Theek hai, toh main prasad bhej rahi hoon aap sab ke liye. Thank you so much,” she said. Pointing out at the arrangement made for the paparazzi outside the pre-wedding ceremony venue, Nita asked, “Comfortable hai aap?” The paparazzi assured they were okay.

For the ceremony, Nita Ambani dressed in a unique creation by the renowned design team Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. She wore a peacock emerald green Tharad lehenga, which she accessorised with a blue satin silk dupatta and a gold blouse. The lehenga was an exquisite example of hand-embroidered Soni work, adorned with tiny mirrors that glistened with each step the wearer took. The gold jewelled blouse, embellished with silver thread and chandan haar, accentuated the splendour of the ensemble by precisely matching the lehenga.
Shloka Mehta Ambani’s mother Mona Mehta and Anand Piramal’s mother Swati Piramal also attended the ceremony. Mona Mehta stunned in a red saree, while Swati Piramal looked gorgeous in a sequinned mauve-coloured saree.
The main wedding ceremonies of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant will start on July 12, with the auspicious Shubh Vivah or wedding function. The dress code is Indian traditional. July 13 will be the day of Shubh Aashirwad and the dress code is Indian formal. July 14 will be the Mangal Utsav or the wedding reception and the dress code is Indian chic. All these functions will be held at the Jio World Centre in BKC.
