Anand Ambani and Radhika Merchant are now married. The wedding ceremony took place on Friday in Mumbai, attracting a galaxy of Bollywood celebrities who gathered to celebrate their union. Today, the Ambani family is hosting a Shubh Aashirvaad ceremony at the BKC in Mumbai, with a host of celebrities expected to attend the auspicious event.
Among those who have already arrived at the venue are Captain Cool MS Dhoni with his wife Sakshi and daughter Ziva, as well as Amitabh Bachchan. In a video now going viral on social media, Dhoni, Sakshi and Ziva can be seen posing on the red carpet. Dhoni looked dapper in a light pink silk kurta, while Sakshi looked beautiful in a white salwar suit. Little Ziva sported a red salwar suit.
What has particularly caught the attention of netizens is the fact that as Dhoni posed on the red carpet, megastar Amitabh Bachchan waited patiently right behind him for his turn. Meanwhile, in a video from the wedding, cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar could be seen crossing paths with the Bachchan family at the wedding. Tendulkar first greets Amitabh Bachchan with a respectful Namaste before shaking his hand. He then proceeds to meet Abhishek Bachchan, Agastya Nanda, and Navya Nanda. Sachin was accompanied by his wife, Anjali. Megastar Rajinikanth was also spotted at the event.
At Anant Ambani’s lavish wedding, the Bachchan family stole the show with their presence. Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan arrived with their children Abhishek and Shweta, along with Shweta’s husband Nikhil Nanda. Also present were their grandchildren Navya Naveli Nanda and Agastya Nanda.
Mukesh Ambani and his wife Nita Ambani kicked off the wedding festivities for their son Anant Ambani and his fiancée Radhika Merchant with the Mameru ceremony at their residence, Antilia, in Mumbai last week.
