Actors Dileep, Manju Warrier divorced by mutual consent

Kochi: Malayalam actors Dileep and Manju Warrier were today granted divorce by a family court here, ending 16 years of marriage.

Family court judge P Mohan Das granted divorce on a joint petition filed by the estranged couple on July 24 last year seeking divorce by mutual consent. After six months of counselling, the two again appeared before the court on January 29 and stood firm with their plea for separation.

The actors were not present in the court today. Manju, who quit films after marriage, has begun acting once again. The actor received rave reviews after her comeback film 'How Old are You' last year did well in the box office.
