The show will tell the tale of a couple who become closer thanks to their divorce, Deadline reports. It is based on a Danish series created by Mette Heeno.
Splitting Up Together will be written and executive produced by Emily Kapneck, with DeGeneres, Jeff Kleeman, Heeno, Hella Joof and Mie Andreasen also exec producing. It will air on the network ABC.
