This Delhi Park Has The World's 7 Wonders But There's A Catch
The replicas of seven wonders of the world have been prepared using 150 tons of garbage from different parks in Delhi.

Local artisans in Sarai Kale Khan, Delhi, have brought the Seven Wonders of the World closer to home by creating replicas from scrap metal on a two-hectare plot of land. The park, near the Sarai Kale Khan bus terminal, showcases replicas of iconic landmarks including the Taj Mahal, the Great Pyramid of Giza, the Eiffel Tower, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, Christ the Redeemer, the Colosseum and the Statue of Liberty. These impressive replicas have been crafted using 150 tons of scrap metal, ranging from bicycle rims to spare car parts.

The Great Pyramid of Giza, the oldest wonder, dating back to 2560 BC, stands as a prime example of ancient architectural prowess. Constructed over 23 years by more than one lakh labourers, it remains a marvel of human engineering.

The Leaning Tower of Pisa, renowned for its nearly four-degree lean, is a medieval masterpiece. Situated in Pisa’s Cathedral Square, its replica in Delhi’s park captures the charm of this iconic structure.

Christ the Redeemer, perched atop Corcovado Mountain in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, is a colossal statue of Jesus Christ. A symbol of Brazil, the replica in Delhi, though smaller, reflects its grandeur.

The Taj Mahal, an epitome of love and devotion, is a majestic white marble mausoleum in Agra, India. Built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal, it remains one of India’s most cherished treasures.

The Colosseum, located in the heart of Rome, Italy, is an ancient amphitheatre renowned for gladiatorial contests and public spectacles. A symbol of the Roman Empire, its replica in Delhi pays homage to its historic significance.

The Statue of Liberty, a symbol of freedom and democracy, graces the shores of America. Standing 151 feet tall, with a climb of 354 zigzagging stairs to the crown, its replica offers a glimpse into its awe-inspiring presence.

Lastly, the Eiffel Tower, an iconic landmark in Paris, France, captivates millions of visitors annually. Its graceful silhouette and intricate lattice design make it a must-see attraction.
