Yechury calls for consensus on FDI

VIJAYAWADA: CPM Politburo member and MP Sitaram Yechury Tuesday asked the Centre to arrive at any decision on FDIinretail only after arriving at a consensus of all the stakeholders and political parties. "But it seems the government is holding back its decision only to run the Parliament session smoothly,' he said.
Responding to a question on the killing of Maoist top leader Kishenji in West Bengal, he alleged that Trinamul Congress president Mamata Banerjee had patronised the Maoists only to bring down the Left Front government.
