Police on Sunday said that the woman who had levelled sexual exploitation charges against a Madhya Pradesh BJP leader is not to be found at the address given by her in her report.

Police on Sunday said that the woman who had levelled sexual exploitation charges against a Madhya Pradesh BJP leader is not to be found at the address given by her in her report.

The complainant had in 2011 levelled sexual exploitation charges against MP BJP organisational general secretary Arvind Menon and also approached the State Human Rights Commission in the matter, said Jabalpur Superintendent of Police, Harinarayan Chari Mishra.

With the woman not being found at the address given by her in her complaint, the SP said that reports of the same had been sent three times to the commission.

No proof was found of whether or not the woman had gone to Omti police station to file a complaint.

Neither was it known whether she had come on her own to the police in this regard after the Commission's directive, the SP said.

Meanwhile, in Bhopal, MP state BJP president Narendra Singh Tomar dismissed the allegations against his party colleague as being baseless after a report appeared in a section of the media on Sunday along with a copy of an affidavit filed by the woman against Menon in 2011.
