Vigilance raid on forest range officer

BHUBANESWAR: Acting on allegations of amassing property disproportionate to income, Vigilance Department officials on Thursday conducted raids on Dillip Kumar Digal, Forest Range officer, Purunakatak Forest Range, in Boudh district. The raid revealed property and assets to the tune of Rs 62.77 lakh. Raids were conducted on the office and Government residential quarter of Digal at Purunakatak and other places simultaneously. He was found to own one double-storey house at Phulbani and a three-storey house at Niladrivihar in Bhubaneswar. They have been valued at Rs 59.12 lakh.Movable assets, ornaments and household articles have been valued at Rs 3.15 lakh.
