A fatal accident occurred in front of Delhi's square mall in Vasant Kunj on Saturday after a 45-year-old biker tripped and got run over by a speeding truck owing to a pothole.
According to eyewitnesses the motorcyclist Praveen's head got severed by the truck's tyres after his bike slipped inside a huge pothole leading to the accident.
The truck's driver abandoned the truck and escaped from the spot.
Passersby rushed him to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.
His body was sent to AIIMS for autopsy.
The victim was a resident of Mohan Garden in west Delhi's Uttam Nagar area
The police is on the lookout for the driver.
