Guangzhou: India wrestlers Ravinder Singh and Sunil Kumar Rana will play for bronze in the repechage rounds after losing in the semifinals in their respective Greco-Roman categories in the Asian Games here on Sunday.
Commonwealth Games gold medallist Ravinder won his first Greco-Roman 60kg bout of the day against Nurbakyt Tengizbayev of Kazakhstan before losing to Jung Jihyun of South Korea 0-3 on points in the semifinals.
The Indian will now take on Muhammad Aliansyah of Indonesia for a repechage bronze later in the day.
Rana, who also won a gold medal in the CWG, first beat Turkmenistan's Yazgeldy Kadyrov 3-0 on points in the Greco-Roman 66kg quarterfinals before losing to Saeid Abdvali of Iran in the semifinals.
The Indian will play against Sutep Oomchompoo of Thailand for a repechage bronze, also later in the day.
Another CWG gold-medallist, Rajender Kumar crashed out of the men's Greco-Roman 55kg wrestling competition after losing to Li Shujin of China in the first round.
