TV actress held for manhandling traffic cop

Bangalore: A Kannada television actress was arrested along with four other women for allegedly manhandling a traffic constable in Basaveshwarnagar area of the city on Friday, police said.

The five women were nabbed after they allegedly manhandled the officer when he stopped their vehicle and questioned them after they had jumped a traffic signal, police said.

Police did not disclose the name of the TV actress who was arrested, only saying a case had been registered against the five women and they would take stringent action.
