Over a dozen trains operating from Mysore were cancelled fully or partially in view of the Karnataka bandh on Saturday.
The authorities gauging the situation stopped some trains from leaving the stations while others were stopped by the protestors at various places in Mysore and Mandya districts.
The cancelled trains are Number 56229 Mysore to Bangalore passenger train, 06221/06222 Mysore to Bangalore Holiday Special, 16231 Mayiladuturai to Mysore Express, 16732 Bangalore to Tutocorin Express was partially cancelled between Mysore and Bangalore.
No 16731 Tuticorin to Mysore Express was detained at Ramanagaram station, 16232 Mysore to Mayiladuturai Express ran between Bangalore and Mayiladuturai.
Number 56214 Tirupati to Chamarajanagar passenger train was detained at Kengeri station while 56209 Chamarajanagar to Mysore passenger train was cancelled.
Train number 12975 Mysore to Jaipur Express was diverted to run via Hassan, Arsikere, Tumkur, Yesvantpur and Yelhanka to reach Jaipur 16215 Mysore to Bangalore City Express was detained at Mandya.
Train numbers 16216 Bangalore City to Mysore Express was cancelled.
56231 Mysore to Bangalore passenger train was detained at Hanakere, numbers 56232/56237/56238 Bangalore to Mysore to Bangalore passenger train, and 12613/12614 Mysore to Bangalore to Mysore Expresses were cancelled.
