KOCHI: The Global Public School will organise training for teachers in the Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation programme. The programme was introduced by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) two years back till the 10th grade. Under the programme various co-scholastic areas of life skills, attitudes and values, sports and games as well as co-curricular activities are to be assessed and graded. “The training is being conducted to help the teachers adapt well with the system. The CCE is not just about record keeping but comprehensive evaluation,” said the dean of Global Public School Ernakulam, Lakshmi Ramachandran. The day long session will be under Meena Viswanathan, the education officer of Shikshan Bharathi- Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan.
