Top cop fed up, to write book

GULBARGA: Director General of Police (Home Guards and Fire Service) D V Guruprasad said he will write a book on "top cops deprived of opportunities in the country." He said he will write the book after his retirement.
Sources close to Guruprasad told Express that the DGP, who will retire this month end, was "fed up" with the state of affairs in the department, and has decided not to continue the legal battle against the government which "deprived" him of the top post. There are only 20 days left for his retirement.
