After her husband's death, Jayalakshmi returned home to Kozhikode and currently lives alone.

A woman named MP Jayalakshmi, a part-time sweeper at the ICDS office in Koilandi Pantalayani Mini Civil Station, Kozhikode is well-known among the staff for her kindness towards a flock of crows, including a one-legged crow. Each morning and evening, she feeds the crows and other creatures that gather around the office.

Jayalakshmi’s late husband, Jayaram Jadhav, was from North India, and she once worked at a typewriting institute in Mumbai. Her only son, Abhijit Jadhav, is in the army. After her husband’s death, Jayalakshmi returned home to Kozhikode and currently lives alone.

“I am here for two more months. Then what will you do?” Jayalakshmi said, looking at the one-legged crow, which seemed to understand her concern. The crow gazed back at her for a moment before slowly picking the food from her hand.

She has her own story of compassion, having once fallen while tending to a sick cat on top of a woodshed at home. She often collects leftover food from office gatherings and packs it in envelopes to feed stray dogs and crows along the roadside.

Jayalakshmi’s part-time job at the Mini Civil Station is set to end in October. She worries about who will care for her feathered friends after she leaves. In a time when people often forget to show kindness, individuals like Jayalakshmi and the relationships they build are truly valuable.

In another video, a cow is seen approaching a vegetable vendor. At first glance, it would seem like the cow approaches the kiosk to eat the vegetables but on the contrary, the cow starts rubbing itself against the vendor’s body, yearning for love. Just like how a cat or a dog does, the cow is seen looking for cuddles and the vendor reciprocates by caressing and patting the cow.

The man then starts feeding the cows some vegetables, which they gladly gobble up. The astonishing fact remains that the cow does not eat any of the vegetables until the vendor offers it.

What's your reaction?
