New Delhi: Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi's three-day fast for peace and harmony begins on Saturday in Ahemdabad.
The BJP leader has got support on Twitter as the site is abuzz with congratulatory messages for him.
Former IPS Office Kiran Bedi has tweeted, "Pray for prosperous and harmonious Gujarat. It is vibrant and determined. We see this in every Gujarati anywhere! The spirit is amazing."
Another tweet from maloy39 said, "Well done Modi. Bring back harmony. Join the nation to give good governance."
But there are other not-so-encouraging messages also. Rahul Bhandari wrote, "Sad-bhavna fast NOW after all d killings and hurting and loud mouthing. Shoot me if i am wrong but isn't it too late 2 do that Mr Modi?"
Vibhurishi wrote, "I still don't get it why Modi is going on fast, and why in an AC environment?"
Another tweet by hteeraf said, "Narendra Modi fasting for peace and secularity is like Hitler fasting for Jews."
