Mumbai: Nearly two weeks after the highly-decomposed body of a 23-year-old IT professional was found in Bhandup in Mumbai, the Railway Police has claimed a breakthrough.

On Friday, the Railway police personnel recovered crucial CCTV footage from the Kurla railway station which showed the victim entering the waiting room with a person known to her.

The Railway Police has said that it will share the report with the Mumbai Police.

The needle of suspicion still points to auto and taxi drivers, the police say. However, they have released the four suspects they had detained for questioning after their call records showed that they were not present in the area where the body of the victim was found.

What's your reaction?
