THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Gouri Nayar, principal, Saraswati Vidyalaya, Vattiyoorkavu, has received the ‘Teacher of the year 2010’ award instituted by the CBSE. Union HRD Minister Kapil Sibal handed over the award to Gouri at a function held in New Delhi the other day.The award comprises of a certificate of commendation, a cash prize of Rs 25,000 and a shawl.
