Panaji: Tehelka Editor-in-Chief Tarun Tejpal's custody in sexual assault case ends on Monday. Tejpal's bail plea is likely to come up on January 15.
Tejpal is lodged in Sada sub jail near Vasco town in Goa for allegedly sexually assaulting a younger colleague at Tehelka's 'Think' Fest.
The senior journalist's custody was extended by 10 days on January 3 by a local court in Goa.
Tejpal who was arrested by Goa police on November 30 has been booked under IPC sections including 354-A (sexual harassment, physical contact, advances involving unwelcome and explicit sexual overtures, or any other unwelcome physical, verbal or non-verbal conduct of sexual nature), 376 (rape) and 376 (2)(k) (rape by a person of a woman in his custody taking advantage of his official position).
