The buzz around upcoming Bollywood movie Happy New Year directed by Farah Khan has left one person exasperated - jewellery designer Farah Khan Ali, who was mistaken as film director Farah Khan at an event held in Mumbai.
Farah Khan Ali tweeted, "I did not direct HNY, neither do I make films. I am a JEWELLERY DESIGNER. All tweets pro & against HAPPY NEW YEAR pl tag @thefarahkhan"
Farah Khan Ali, an accomplished jewellery designer, is actor Zayed Khan and interior designer Sussanne Khan's sister.
Meanwhile, Bollywood's beloved choreographer and filmmaker Farah Khan has been busy promoting Happy New Year, a multi-starrer heist entertainer set to release around Diwali this year. Happy New Year features Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Sonu Sood, Abhishek Bachchan and Boman Irani.
The film's trailer was launched at a grand event in Mumbai last week and elicited a power-packed response on social media sites.
