BANGALORE: Major companies look for students, who are willing to acquire knowledge continuously, said Visvesvaraya Technological University vicec-hancellor H Maheshappa while addressing engineering students of CMR Institute of Technology at the inauguration of their academic programmes for the year 2011-2012 on Monday.Maheshappa pointed out that higher education enhances employability while professionals pursuing postgraduate courses must aim at higher goals and work hard to achieve them.Additional Director General of Police M N Krishnamurthy and K C Ramamurthy IGP(Retd) were among representatives from various industries who addressed students and parents.Theygave them an idea of the present placement opportunities in the field of technology.
