VELLORE: Effigies of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy were burnt during a protest by Odukapattor Viduthalai Iyakkam, in Vellore on Thursday.Earlier, members of the Iyakkam assembled in front of the head post office and raised slogans against PM and Kerala government on the Mullaiperiyar issue.Later they also burnt an effigies of the PM and the Kerala Chief Minister. Around 38 persons, including 10 women were arrested.
