Srinagar: Three army jawans were killed and 7 others injured in a militant ambush on an army convoy in Mulu Chitragam of Shopian district in Jammu And Kashmir early on Thursday morning.
A woman, who was hit by a stray bullet inside her house during the cross fire, has also succumbed to her injuries.
The attack happened when an army patrol of 44 Rashtriya Rifles was returning from cordon operation in Kungoo village.
Two officers including a lieutenant colonel and a major have also been injured.

The injured jawans have been shifted to 92 Base Hospital for treatment.
Sources said that the militants managed to escape after carrying out the attack.
A reinforcement was rushed to the area to take out the insurgents in the area.
