Second round of Plus-I allotment list comes out

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The second round of allotment list for Plus-I courses has been published by the director of the Higher Secondary Education on Sunday.Those who have received the allotment in the second list of allotment should get admitted in the schools concerned on Monday and Tuesday. The details about the seat allotment can be obtained from the website www.hscap.kerala.gov.in Those who had been allotted but did not get admitted to the schools concerned will not be considered for further allotment. Those who get allotment to their first options should get permanent allotment after remitting the fee.Those who got allotment based on other options can either opt for permanent or temporary allotment. Those getting temporary allotment could also have the opportunity for cancelling some of the options selectively.  Those who got temporary allotment in the first allotment should get admitted to schools allotted in the second allotment if they had opted for higher options.Around 88.89 per cent of students who were allotted seats in the first allotment had got admitted to the schools concerned. This came to around 76 per cent of the total seats that are allotted through the single window admission process. Last year only 73 per cent of the students got admitted from the first allotment.The number of students who took permanent allotment after the first allotment after cancelling first allotment was 19,612 and total number of students who cancelled options selectively was 5,514.The list of total number of students who have been allotted to schools after each round of allotment and details will be published in the website www.hscap.kerala.gov.in
